Rose, known as the Queen of Flowers, is also the Queen of historical perfumery. Used for centuries across civilizations, rose is loved for its distinctive, strong scent - floral and fresh, with sweet and spicy nuances. Universally coveted, but notoriously expensive due to its low oil yield, rose-perfumed goods were often times only available to the wealthy.

In 16th century Florence, the time and place that inspired this perfumed body butter, rose was an essential component of fine perfumery. The fragrant oil of the rose was combined with the essences of other flowers, spices, and citruses - in particular, Italian lemon, which we have married harmoniously with rose absolute to create a bright, uplifting, and luxuriant fragrance fit for a queen.

This 6.5 oz body butter is rich with natural plant butters and oils, and generously scented with 4% rose absolute and Italian lemon oil. Use it any time of day or night to smooth and soften the skin, leaving the body gently perfumed with a beautiful floral-citrus fragrance. All body butters made-to-order.
